This notice describes the current educational version of Pephelp. There are no accounts, appointment forms, payments, newsletter signups or health-record features on this site.

Choices saved on your device

If you choose a light or dark appearance, the site saves that preference in your browser’s local storage under pephelp-theme. It is not sent to Pephelp. You can clear it through your browser’s site-data settings. The conversation checklist stays in the page; Pephelp does not submit or save your answers.

Search and share links

Filters, searches and selected molecules in the field guide can appear in the page URL so you can share or revisit a view. Anyone you send that URL to can see those choices. URLs can also appear in browser history. Avoid typing private medical information into the search box.

Hosting and technical information

The site is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany and uses Cloudflare for domain name services. Serving a website involves processing technical information such as IP addresses, request times and browser information. Infrastructure providers may process technical or security logs under their own policies. We have not enabled website access logging in the Pephelp web-server configuration.

The current site has no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, embedded video players or third-party font requests. There is no advertising or analytics cookie banner because those tools are not installed.

External websites

Source links take you to other organizations’ websites. Their privacy practices apply when you visit. Pephelp’s web-server policy limits referrer information sent to external sites to the site origin.

If the service changes

Before adding account, contact, clinical or purchase features, we will need to update this notice to explain the responsible operator, data use, retention and how to exercise privacy rights. Please do not use this educational site to send medical or sensitive personal information.
